Davey HP45-05T and HP65-06T twin-stage pressure pumps provide automatic clean-water supply for household use, irrigation, water transfer and washing systems. Their Torrium2 controllers start and stop the pumps as water is used.
Both pumps use a 1 1/4" BSP female inlet and deliver through a 1" BSP male Torrium2 outlet.
They handle clean, non-volatile liquids without fibres or solids at water temperatures from 1°C to 50°C.
The supplied Torrium2 controller automatically starts the pump when water pressure falls and stops it when water demand ends. It automatically sets the starting pressure to suit the pump and installation, adapting during very low demand to reduce repeated starts. Its built-in accumulator allows a small amount of water to be drawn before the pump restarts.
The two-stage pump design uses a 304 stainless steel casing and backplate, glass-filled Noryl stage body and glass-filled polycarbonate impellers. The motor shell is marine-grade aluminium with a baked polyester finish.
Loss-of-prime protection stops the pump if its water supply is lost, with automatic retry to check whether water has returned. The controller also provides high-water-temperature and excessive-current cut-outs. The motor has its own automatic-reset thermal overload protection.
Install horizontally on a firm base in a ventilated, weather-protected position with drainage. Fill the pump casing and suction line with water before starting. Suction-lift installations require a foot valve to retain prime. The maximum suction lift is 6m; actual performance depends on the suction pipework and installation.
Each complete pressure system has a 450kPa maximum system pressure limit and uses a 220-240V single-phase, 50Hz supply.

Grundfos CM boosters provide automatic household and light commercial water supply from clean-water tanks and other suitable water sources. Their fixed-speed multistage design provides pressure for taps, showers and garden irrigation.
CMB 1-36: rated duty 28.3LPM at 23.7m head.
CMB 3-37: rated duty 51.7LPM at 27.7m head.
CMB 5-46: rated duty 78.3LPM at 38.6m head.
The CMB 1-36 and CMB 3-37 have a 1" BSP female inlet.
The CMB 5-46 has a 1 1/4" BSP female inlet.
All three have a 1" BSP male controller outlet.
The controller starts the pump when water use causes pressure to fall below its fixed starting threshold, and stops it when water use ends. The starting threshold cannot be adjusted on the controller. Pressure while the pump runs depends on water flow, inlet pressure and losses through the controller and pipework.
The CMB 1-36 and CMB 3-37 use PM1 controllers with a fixed 150kPa starting threshold.
The CMB 5-46 uses PM1 with a fixed 220kPa starting threshold.
Dry-running protection stops the pump if the controller detects a lack of water. Anti-cycling protection detects repeated starts caused by small leaks and stops the pump with an alarm. Correct the cause and restore the water supply before resetting the controller, as described in the manual.
Rated duty pairs show flow at the stated head; they are not maximum-flow ratings.
Flow decreases as head increases. Choose the pump for the required flow and pressure at the point of use.
Use clean, thin, non-aggressive and non-explosive water without solid particles or fibres, at temperatures from 0°C to 40°C.
These pumps are not self-priming. Fill the pump casing and inlet pipe with clean water before starting, following the installation instructions. Install on a firm, level base in a ventilated position protected from direct sun, rain and frost.
The pump has a cast iron housing, 304 stainless steel impellers and an AVBE shaft seal with EPDM rubber components. The controller includes a non-return valve. The single-phase motor has built-in overload protection.

The CMB 10-47 has a 1 1/2" BSP female inlet.
All six have a 1" BSP male system outlet.
A suitable pressure tank is required and is supplied separately. It stores water under pressure, allowing small amounts of water to be drawn before the pump needs to restart.
Supplied with a pressure switch that automatically starts the pump when water pressure falls and stops it when pressure rises.
Rated duty pairs show flow at the stated head; they are not maximum-flow ratings.
Flow decreases as head increases. Select the pump for the required flow and pressure, allowing for inlet conditions, height differences and losses through fittings and pipework.
Use clean fresh water without solid particles or fibres, at temperatures from 0°C to 60°C.
These pumps are not self-priming. Before starting, fill the pump casing and inlet pipe with clean water, following the installation instructions. Maximum suction lift is 1m at 20°C, including inlet pipe losses. Install in a ventilated, weather-protected position with drainage and protection from frost.
An installer can adjust the start and stop pressures to suit the system, within the pump’s capacity and the pressure tank’s limits.
CMB 1-36, CMB 3-37 and CMB 5-47: 100-500kPa switch start-pressure adjustment range.
CMB 5-56, CMB 5-75 and CMB 10-47: 300-1200kPa switch start-pressure adjustment range.
These are switch adjustment limits, not the pressures the pump can necessarily deliver. The stop pressure must be achievable by the pump and below both its 1000kPa operating limit and the tank’s pressure limit.
The pump housing, impellers and shaft are stainless steel, with polymer diffusers. A pressure switch, pressure gauge, five-way fitting and non-return valve are supplied. The single-phase motor has thermal overload protection.

Approximately 47m maximum pump head; 0.9kW motor.
Inlet: 1" BSP female thread.
System outlet: 1" BSP male thread.
The supplied PM2 pressure manager starts the pump automatically when water is used and stops it when demand ends.
Rated duties are manufacturer flow-and-head reference points at 2900rpm, not maximum-flow ratings. Flow decreases as head increases. Select the pump for the flow and pressure required, allowing for suction lift, pipe friction and height differences.
Use clean fresh water without solid particles or fibres, at temperatures from 0°C to 40°C.
Self-priming does not mean the pump can start dry. Fill the pump casing with clean water through the filling opening before first use, then refit the plug and follow the startup instructions. The standard assembly supports a suction lift of up to 4m, including inlet-pipe losses at 20°C. Keep the suction pipe airtight and the pump close to the water source.
Install on a firm base in a ventilated, weather-protected position, with drainage and protection from frost.
An installer can adjust the starting pressure from 150kPa to 500kPa in 50kPa steps using switches behind the control panel, with the power isolated. This sets when the pump starts; water pressure while it runs depends on the pump and the water being used.
The controller range is wider than the usable range of some pumps. In normal demand control, the pump must be able to provide at least 40kPa above the selected starting pressure, after allowing for inlet conditions.
The pump sleeve, impellers and shaft are stainless steel, with polymer components in the water path. The motor has built-in overload protection, and the pressure manager provides dry-running protection and a non-return valve.

Grundfos CM Pump Installation & Operating Instructions
Grundfos PM1 & PM2 Installation & Operating Instructions
The Grundfos SCALA2 3-45 supplies clean water for household taps, showers and garden watering. Its variable-speed motor responds to changes in water use, helping keep outlet pressure steady as taps open and close. The pump, controller, pressure sensor, pressure tank and non-return valves are integrated into one compact unit.
Rated duty: 50LPM at 27m head.
Maximum flow: 76.7LPM.
Maximum head: 45m.
The rated duty gives a flow and head together. Maximum flow and maximum head occur at different operating points. Available flow falls as the pump works against more head; pipe losses and height differences also affect pressure at the tap.
Inlet: 1" BSP male thread.
Outlet: 1" BSP male thread.
Set the outlet pressure with the up and down buttons on the control panel. The setting changes in 50kPa steps from 150 to 550kPa; the factory setting is 300kPa. The indicator lights show the selected pressure.
Settings of 400–550kPa require water that is already under pressure as it enters the pump. The pump then adds to that incoming pressure. These settings are not suitable for drawing from a tank below the pump. Grundfos limits the pressure increase between inlet and outlet to 350kPa when choosing a setting; an installer should select a setting the pump can maintain at the required flow.
Use clean, fresh water at 0°C to 45°C. Sand and debris can wear or block the pump; use suitable inlet filtration where the water source requires it.
Self-priming means the pump can clear air from the inlet pipe and draw water up to the pump after its housing has been filled with water. Before starting, remove the priming plug, pour at least 1.7L of clean water into the pump housing and refit the plug. Do not switch it on with an empty housing or let it run without a water supply.
Maximum suction lift is 8m; pipe resistance and inlet conditions affect the usable lift. Install on a firm base with drainage and protection from frost, following the installation instructions.
Dry-running and thermal protection help protect the pump. The built-in tank needs no separate pressure tank for normal operation. Check its gas precharge annually and when changing the pressure setting; Grundfos recommends 70% of the selected outlet pressure, checked with the water side depressurised. The installation instructions explain the procedure.
Supplied with a 1.5m power lead and Australian three-pin plug for a 200–240V single-phase, 50/60Hz supply.

Grundfos CMBE variable-speed boosters provide automatic clean-water supply for domestic and light commercial use. They adjust motor speed as water demand changes to help maintain steady outlet pressure.
CMBE 1-44: rated duty 40LPM at 28.7m head.
CMBE 3-62: rated duty 70LPM at 45.2m head.
CMBE 5-62: rated duty 100LPM at 47.8m head.
Rated duty pairs show flow at the stated head; they are not maximum-flow ratings.
Maximum operating pressure is 1000kPa. Inlet pressure and the pressure added by the pump must remain within this limit. Flow decreases as head increases; the pressure available at a tap also depends on elevation and pipe resistance.
The CMBE 1-44 and CMBE 3-62 both have a 1" BSP female inlet.
The CMBE 5-62 has a larger 1 1/4" BSP female inlet.
All three have a 1" BSP female outlet.
These pumps are for clean, thin, non-aggressive, non-toxic and non-explosive liquids without solid particles or fibres, at liquid temperatures from 0°C to 60°C.
Set the desired outlet pressure using the up/down buttons on the motor control panel. Illuminated bars indicate the setting, while the fitted gauge shows actual outlet pressure. The pump uses an outlet pressure sensor to adjust its speed as demand changes, maintaining the selected pressure within its capacity. Readjust the tank precharge whenever the selected outlet pressure changes.
The pump housing, impellers and shaft are 304 stainless steel. A 2L diaphragm tank, pressure sensor and gauge are supplied as part of the booster assembly. Dry-running protection stops the pump when a lack of water is detected and provides automatic restart attempts. Built-in motor protection covers thermal overload and blocking; no separate external motor protection is required.
CMBE pumps are not self-priming. Before starting, fill the pump casing with clean water through the priming opening and let trapped air escape, following the installation instructions. Maximum suction lift is 1m at a water temperature of 20°C, including inlet pipe pressure loss. Install horizontally on a firm base with space for motor cooling and suitable weather protection and drainage.
All three Australian plug versions use a 200-240V single-phase, 50/60Hz supply.

The pump determines the available flow and pressure. Changing tank size does not increase the pump’s performance. A larger tank generally stores more usable water between pump starts, helping reduce how often the pump starts during intermittent use.
Tank choices: 8L, 18L, 35L or 60L nominal capacity. These are vessel sizes, not the amounts of water available between starts; usable storage depends on the switch settings and tank precharge.
The pressure switch starts the pump when pressure falls to its start setting and stops it at its stop setting. Pressure varies between these settings during use. An installer sets the switch and tank precharge to suit the pump, required water supply and component pressure limits.
Use clean water without sand, solids or fibres. The pump body, impellers and diffusers use 300-series stainless steel.
The pump is not self-priming. Fill the pump and suction pipe with clean water before starting, and use a suitable valve arrangement to retain that water where suction lift is required. Install on a firm base with drainage and motor ventilation, following the pump manual.
Supplied for a 220–240V single-phase, 50Hz supply with an AU/NZ plug. Do not let the pump run without water; arrange suitable protection against loss of supply.

The Davey EcoPure DEP2540 is a 25" fibreglass media filter for swimming pools, swim spas and plunge pools. Its top-mounted six-way valve connects to 40mm PVC pressure pipe through the included barrel unions.
Water passes through the media bed to remove suspended dirt before returning to the pool. The filter suits fresh, salt and mineral-salt pool water, using glass, sand or Zelbrite media.
Inlet from pump: 40mm socket for PVC pressure pipe.
Outlet to pool: 40mm socket for PVC pressure pipe.
Waste/backwash: 40mm socket for PVC pressure pipe.
The filter includes the fibreglass tank, internal laterals, six-way valve, pressure gauge, backwash sight glass and barrel unions.
Glass media for the DEP2540:
Fine/medium glass: 5 × 15kg bags (75kg)
Medium/coarse glass: 3 × 15kg bags (45kg)
These glass quantities total 120kg. Sand and Zelbrite use different loading quantities; follow the instructions for the chosen media.
Match the pump to both duties: filtration flow must stay within 260LPM, and the pump must deliver at least 173LPM through the backwash circuit to clean the media. Allow for resistance in the pipework and waste line.
The valve provides Filter, Backwash, Rinse, Waste, Recirculate and Closed positions. The pressure gauge helps identify when cleaning is needed, and the sight glass shows the water leaving during backwashing. Stop the pump before changing valve position.
The tank is made from UV-stabilised, filament-wound fibreglass. ABS barrel unions allow pipe connections to be disconnected for servicing, while the internal lateral underdrain collects filtered water and distributes backwash flow.
Install on a firm, level base and allow at least 400mm above the valve for removal and servicing. Check the dimension drawing when replacing an existing filter. Maximum water temperature is 40°C.
Follow the installation guide for media loading, initial backwash and rinsing. Relieve pressure before servicing and never run the pump with the valve closed.
Davey warranty: 10 years on the tank, three years on the multiport valve and one year on other components, subject to its terms.

Davey Supercell P steel pressure tanks hold a reserve of water under pressure for household, farm and other water-pressure systems. A flexible rubber diaphragm separates the water from compressed air, which pushes water out when a tap opens. This reserve allows smaller amounts of water to be used without starting the pump each time. Fewer starts reduce wear from repeated starting and stopping, helping extend pump life, and can reduce electricity use and running costs. Pipe-mounted tanks connect vertically to the pump delivery pipework and need suitable support. Free-standing tanks sit upright on their own base, with an inlet elbow for horizontal pipework.

24018P: 18L; pipe mounted; 1" BSP male thread.
24040P: 40L; pipe mounted; 1" BSP male thread.
24060P: 60L; free standing; 1" BSP female thread.
24100P: 100L; free standing; 1" BSP female thread.
Nominal tank volume is the vessel size, not the amount of water available between pump starts. Usable draw-off depends on the pump’s start and stop pressures and the tank air charge. At pump start/stop pressures of 200–400kPa, usable water draw-off is roughly 40% of nominal tank volume. Other pressure settings and control types give different results.
The steel shell has an epoxy primer and two-part polyurethane enamel finish for corrosion and UV resistance. Inside, a butyl-rubber diaphragm and virgin polypropylene liner keep the water separated from the air cushion and steel shell. The water connection is stainless steel.
The diaphragm and liner are suitable for potable-water applications. Other uses include rainwater and booster systems, irrigation, water-hammer control and suitably designed hydronic expansion or mains-water toilet-flushing systems. Select the tank and controls for the application.
Maximum working pressure is 1000kPa and maximum water temperature is 90°C. Protect the tank and connected pipework from freezing.
Set the air charge to suit the pump controls and system pressures. Pressure-switch, electronic and variable-speed systems can require different settings; follow the tank and pump/controller instructions.
Install vertically in a covered, dry position with drainage and access for servicing. Pipe-mounted models need suitable support; free-standing models need a firm base. The 60L and 100L tanks have stainless steel inlet elbows for horizontal pipework. Release the water pressure before checking or adjusting the air charge.

Nominal tank capacity is the vessel size, not the amount of water available between pump starts. Usable draw-off depends on the start and stop pressures and the air charge. At pump start/stop pressures of 200–400 kPa, these tanks provide roughly 38% of their nominal volume between starts. Other pressure settings and control types give different results.
The tank has a continuous-strand fibreglass outer shell sealed with epoxy resin, a polypropylene inner shell and a virgin copolymer polypropylene liner. A butyl-rubber diaphragm separates the air and water, and the water connection is reinforced plastic. The non-metal water-contact components avoid corrosion of metal wetted parts. The diaphragm and liner are suitable for potable-water applications.
Maximum working pressure is 860 kPa. Water temperature must remain between 1°C and 50°C. Protect the tank and connected pipework from freezing.
Install upright on a firm base in a covered, dry position with drainage and access for servicing. The water connection is at the bottom of the tank and faces horizontally. Do not overtighten the plastic connection.
Set the air charge to suit the pump controls and system pressures. Pressure-switch, electronic and variable-speed systems can require different settings; follow the tank and pump/controller instructions. Release all water pressure before checking or adjusting the air charge.

This Franklin 35L pressure tank holds a reserve of water under pressure for domestic water supply, irrigation and pressure-boosting systems. The tank stands upright on its own base.
Water connection: 1" BSP male thread.
Nominal tank capacity is the vessel size, not the amount of water available before the pump restarts. Usable draw-off depends on the pump’s start and stop pressures and the tank air charge. Size the tank for the usable draw-off and pump cycling requirements of the system.
The diaphragm separates the stored water from the air cushion. The tank has a corrosion-resistant stainless steel water connection, a butyl-rubber diaphragm and a polyurethane paint finish over an epoxy primer. It is suitable for potable-water systems.
The tank can also be used for suitably designed thermal-expansion applications. Match the tank to the system’s temperature and pressure requirements.
Maximum working pressure is 1000 kPa (145 psi). The tank stands upright on its own base. Place floor-mounted tanks on a firm base and support connected pipework.
Set the air charge to suit the pump/controller and system pressures. Release water pressure before checking or adjusting the air charge, and follow the instructions for the actual tank and control type.
Five-year manufacturer tank-replacement guarantee, subject to its terms.
Davey Torrium2 provides automatic pump control for clean-water household supply, irrigation and water transfer. It starts the pump when water use causes pressure to fall, keeps it running while water is being used, and stops it when flow falls below about 1LPM. Pre-wired and plug-and-play versions provide different ways to connect the pump motor.
Inlet: 1" BSP male thread.
Outlet: 1" BSP male thread. The horizontal outlet rotates to suit the pipework; a vertical outlet is also available.
Maximum controller system pressure is 1000 kPa. Water temperature must remain between 1°C and 70°C; maximum ambient temperature is 50°C. Use clean, non-volatile liquids without fibres or solids. Other applications include washing systems and pressure boosting.
The controller version must suit the pressure the pump can produce with all outlets closed, as well as the pump’s electrical load. The 1000 kPa rating is the controller’s pressure limit; it does not mean every version suits a pump that produces that pressure.
When you close a tap, flow falls and the pump builds pressure before Torrium2 stops it. The controller remembers the pressure reached. Next time water is used, it normally restarts the pump once pressure has fallen by about 20% from that remembered value. This sets the restart point automatically. A dripping tap or slowly leaking toilet cistern releases water a little at a time, so pressure falls slowly. Torrium2 can wait until the pressure has fallen further before restarting the pump, increasing the time between starts. When normal water use resumes, it returns to its normal starting behaviour.
Dry-run protection stops the pump when Torrium2 detects a loss of prime. This means the pump no longer has enough water inside it to pump normally, which can happen if a supply tank empties or air enters the suction pipe. Torrium2 then retries at increasing intervals. The controller also stops the pump if water becomes too hot or it detects excessive electrical current. Lights show whether the pump is running, standing by or has a fault.
A small internal spring-loaded chamber holds a little water under pressure, helping reduce repeated starts during very small water draws. It does not need air-charge checks. An optional pressure tank up to 18L can be fitted to the vertical outlet to store more water between pump starts.
The housing is glass-fibre-reinforced nylon, with a 316 stainless steel sensor plate and nitrile O-rings. A built-in check valve helps retain pressure when the pump stops. A built-in surge protector helps protect the controller electronics from power spikes.
The controller has a 2m incoming power lead with an Australian three-pin plug. Match the motor connection to the selected pre-wired or plug-and-play version. Plug-and-play pump sockets need suitable weather protection outdoors.
Mount the controller with access to the priming point, prime button and status lights.

This brass five-way manifold brings the pump delivery connection, pipework and pressure-control fittings together in one compact fitting. Its three 1" BSP ports provide the main water connections, while two smaller 1/4" BSP ports connect pressure-control accessories such as a pressure switch and gauge. It suits Franklin Electric MH-series pump installations.
The manifold provides connection points for a pump pressure system. The pressure switch controls when the pump starts and stops; a gauge shows system pressure. These components connect to the manifold and are sold separately.
The 1" BSP male and female ports are in line, with a second 1" BSP female port branching off at 90°. The two 1/4" BSP side ports face opposite directions: one male and one female.
These PVC plugs fit inside the bottom of the bore casing, so they don’t stick out like a cap fitted over the pipe. This helps prevent the end from catching on the sides of the hole as the casing is lowered into the bore. Choose 100mm, 125mm or 150mm to suit Class 9–12 casing.
Sizes: 100mm, 125mm and 150mm.
The plug fits inside the casing rather than over its outside, maintaining a slim end profile for lowering. It also closes the bottom against material entering through the open end; water enters through the bore’s intended intake or screen section. Match the plug to the casing size and class.
BoreSaver Ultra C dissolves iron-oxide build-up and helps remove the associated bacterial slime from bores, pumps and pipework. It is used to rehabilitate an existing bore by loosening deposits so they can be flushed out, helping recover performance lost to iron build-up. This 10kg bucket contains the concentrated crystalline cleaner.
Iron-related bacteria can contribute to rusty, slimy deposits around bore screens and inside pumps and pipework, restricting water flow. Treatment dissolves the iron build-up and helps loosen the associated bacterial slime so it can be pumped out and flushed away.
The quantity needed depends on the bore’s internal diameter, the depth of water being treated and the amount of build-up. Select the treatment amount and method using the Australian application instructions.
Cleaning involves distributing the treatment through the affected area, allowing time for it to work, then pumping out the loosened material and flushing the system. The chosen method determines which parts of the bore and pump are reached.
Follow the product label, application instructions and current safety data sheet for handling, protective equipment and disposal of treatment water.
