FRANKLIN MH15 THREE-PHASE MULTISTAGE TRANSFER PUMPS

Franklin MH15 horizontal multistage pumps supply clean water for pressure boosting, water transfer, irrigation and washdown. Supplied as one bare pump-and-motor unit; automatic start/stop operation requires separate controls, and no pressure tank is included.

The paired figures show flow and head together; they are reference points, not maximum-flow ratings or a nominated ideal duty. Maximum head occurs at zero flow. Allow for inlet conditions, height differences and pipe losses when selecting the pump.

The pump body, impellers and diffusers are 304 stainless steel, with reinforced tie-rod construction and a carbon/silicon-carbide mechanical seal with EPDM elastomer. Use clean water without solids or fibres, compatible with the pump materials. Maximum water temperature is 85°C for domestic and commercial use; the 110°C limit is for industrial applications only.

The pump is not self-priming. Fill the pump casing and suction pipe before starting, and use suitable inlet valves to retain prime where suction lift is required. Install on a firm base with drainage, supported pipework, ventilation and protection from weather and freezing. Do not run without water or against a closed outlet.

Maximum operating pressure is 1000kPa; inlet pressure and the pressure added by the pump must remain within this limit.

The stocked versions use a 380–415V three-phase, 50Hz supply. Connection by an electrician and suitable external motor overload protection are required.

The pump does not automatically start and stop as taps open and close without suitable separate controls.

The paired figures show flow available at a stated head.
Application flow range: 133.3–400LPM; select the stage count for the required head.
Maximum head is the zero-flow figure and occurs separately from the listed flow.
Maximum operating pressure: 1000kPa. Inlet pressure plus the pressure added by the pump must remain within this limit.
Select for the required flow and head, allowing for height differences and pipe losses.
Do not run against a closed outlet or below the manufacturer's minimum operating flow.
