The Davey HP45-05T is a twin-stage centrifugal pressure pump for household water supply, irrigation, water transfer and washing systems. It delivers up to 70 LPM with a maximum total head of approximately 33m read from its performance curve. Actual flow depends on vertical lift and pipe resistance and decreases as head increases.
The pump has a 1 1/4" BSP female thread inlet and supplies water through a 1" BSP male Torrium2 system outlet. It is designed for clean, non-volatile liquids without fibres or solids, at water temperatures from 1°C to 50°C.
The supplied Torrium2 controller automatically starts the pump when water pressure falls and stops it when water demand ends. It automatically sets the starting pressure to suit the pump and installation, adapting during very low demand to reduce repeated starts. Its built-in accumulator allows a small amount of water to be drawn before the pump restarts.
Loss-of-prime protection stops the pump if its water supply is lost, with automatic retry to check whether water has returned. The controller also provides high-water-temperature and excessive-current cut-outs. The motor has its own automatic-reset thermal overload protection.
Two impeller stages develop pressure inside a 304 stainless steel pump casing and backplate. The impellers are glass-filled polycarbonate, with a glass-filled Noryl stage body. A ceramic/carbon mechanical seal and nitrile O-rings seal the pump.
Install horizontally on a firm base in a ventilated, weather-protected position with drainage. Fill the pump casing and suction line with water before starting. Suction-lift installations require a foot valve to retain prime. The maximum suction lift is 6m; actual performance depends on the suction pipework and installation.
The complete system has a maximum system pressure of 450kPa. Its 220-240V single-phase motor provides 0.55kW output power from 0.77kW input power.
Two-year Davey warranty, subject to its terms.
