The Davey Silensor SLS200 is a single-speed, water-cooled pump for pool filtration, automatic pool cleaning, backwashing, water features and spa jets. It also suits solar, gas and heat-pump pool heating, with a quiet motor design and built-in dry-run and mechanical-seal protection.
The motor has an electrical input of 1.09kW and a shaft output of 0.775kW. Use the SLS200 hydraulic curve to check the flow available against the resistance of the pool pipework, filter, cleaner and heating equipment.
Inlet: 40mm PVC connection.

Quick-coupling barrel unions assist with installation and removal. The SLS layout suits retrofit applications; check the dimension drawing and pipework before choosing a replacement. A 3m power lead is included.
The water-cooled motor reduces transmitted noise and vibration, with a published sound level of 54–56dBA. It does not require air ventilation for motor cooling, giving more flexibility in positioning.
Built-in dry-run protection helps minimise pump damage if water is lost, and mechanical-seal protection supports service life. These protections do not remove the need to maintain the pump and water supply.
Corrosion-resistant and UV-resistant polypropylene components, a 316 stainless steel shaft and an epoxy-protected motor shell suit outdoor poolside conditions. The water circuit is double insulated and has an equipotential bonding point. ABS barrel unions and a drain plug assist with servicing.
The pump uses a 220–240V, 50Hz supply and has an IP56 motor enclosure. Maximum water temperature and ambient temperature are both 40°C.
