The Davey ProMaster PM400BT is a variable-speed, water-cooled pool pump with Bluetooth smartphone control and a selectable speed dial. It suits filtration, in-floor cleaning and pool heating systems, with a large 4.5L leaf basket and connections for external pool controls.
The speed can be adjusted from 1050 to 3100rpm using the dial or Bluetooth control. Lower speeds reduce energy use where they still provide the flow required by the filter, cleaner, chlorinator and heating equipment. The PM400BT application guide lists pools up to 140,000 litres; select the speed and operating time for the actual system.

The integrated variable-speed drive and Bluetooth connection support control and speed schedules through the Davey Pool Pump app for iOS and Android. A 3m power lead is included.
Programmable boost cycling improves surface skimming and supports in-floor cleaning. Flow/speed compensation helps respond as filter resistance increases. The weatherproof RJ45 port provides a connection for speed adjustment from compatible external pool controllers, gas heaters or heat pumps.
The backwash mode alternates selected low and high speeds to agitate filter media, with a two-minute automatic shutoff to limit accidental draining. Loss-of-prime protection helps protect the pump when water is lost, and a multicoloured LED indicates operating conditions and warnings.
The water-cooled motor is rated down to 50dBA, depending on operating speed. The 4.5L leaf basket provides capacity between cleanings, and a drain plug assists with draining and maintenance. The water circuit is double insulated and has an equipotential bonding point.
The pump uses a 220–240V, 50/60Hz supply. Electrical input varies with speed: 126W at dial 1, 728W at dial 5 and 1639W at dial 10. Maximum water temperature is 40°C and maximum ambient temperature is 50°C.
