The Seaflo AG 55 is a 12V DC diaphragm pump for agricultural spraying and compatible liquid transfer. Its built-in pressure switch starts the pump as system pressure falls and stops it when shutoff pressure is reached. An internal bypass helps reduce rapid on/off cycling at low demand.
The pump is supplied with two 1/2" female NPT x 1/2" hose-barb fittings and two-pin leads.
Maximum open flow is 18.9LPM. The pressure switch stops the pump at 60psi (about 410kPa). These are separate limits: flow decreases as pressure rises, and the pump does not deliver its maximum flow at shutoff pressure.
Inlet: 1/2" male NPT thread.
Outlet: 1/2" male NPT thread.
Viton valves and a Santoprene diaphragm suit compatible agricultural liquids. Check the liquid, concentration and temperature against all wetted materials before pumping chemicals. The valve material does not establish compatibility with every chemical or approval for drinking-water and food applications.
The five-chamber design and internal bypass help reduce rapid cycling at low demand. A separate accumulator tank is not required for normal operation. The number of outlets that can run together depends on their combined flow and pressure requirements.
Keep the supplied pressure setting. Refer pressure-switch and bypass adjustments to Seaflo; incorrect settings may prevent the pump from switching off or affect the warranty.
The pump is self-priming with a suction lift up to 1.8m. Usable lift depends on the inlet hose, air leaks and the liquid being pumped. Dry-running capability does not provide automatic shutdown when a tank is empty; switch off when the liquid supply runs out.
Follow the duty-cycle instructions supplied with the pump. Use liquid at temperatures up to 60°C, subject to chemical compatibility.
Fit a suitable inlet strainer and flexible reinforced hose, keeping suction joints airtight. Secure the pump using its rubber mounting feet without overtightening them, and protect the motor and electrical connections from water.
The pump requires a 12V DC supply. Maximum current is 17A.
