The Davey SureFlo DSF900 is a single-speed circulation pump for residential pool filtration, sanitising systems and solar heating. Its multi-fit design suits in-ground and above-ground pools, large swim spas and plunge pools, with self-aligning unions for installation.
The motor has an electrical input of 0.9kW and a shaft output of 0.65kW. Choose the pump from its flow-at-head curve, allowing for the filter, pipework, heating and other connected equipment.
Inlet: accepts 40mm PVC pipe internally or a 50mm PVC socket/bell end externally.
Outlet: accepts 40mm PVC pipe internally or a 50mm PVC socket/bell end externally.
Self-aligning barrel unions assist with installation. The multi-fit design supports replacement applications, but pipe centres and clearances should be checked against the dimension drawing. A 3m power lead with an Australian 10amp three-pin plug is included.
The pump uses corrosion-resistant and UV-resistant materials, a Noryl impeller, 316 stainless steel shaft and silicon carbide/Viton mechanical seal. The totally enclosed motor has self-resetting thermal overload protection. The water circuit is double insulated and has an equipotential bonding point.
The clear strainer lid gives access for basket maintenance, and drain plugs simplify draining and servicing. Davey publishes a 54–56dBA sound range for this family.
The pump uses a 220–240V single-phase, 50Hz supply. Maximum water temperature and ambient temperature are both 40°C.
