The Seaflo AG 22 is a compact 12V DC diaphragm pump for agricultural spraying and compatible liquid transfer. Its built-in pressure switch starts the pump as system pressure falls and stops it when shutoff pressure is reached. An internal bypass helps reduce rapid on/off cycling.
The pump has Viton valves and a Santoprene diaphragm. Check compatibility with the intended liquid, concentration and temperature before using agricultural chemicals. The valve material does not establish compatibility with every chemical.
Maximum open flow is 5LPM. The pressure switch stops the pump at 100psi (about 690kPa). These figures are separate limits: flow decreases as pressure rises, and the pump does not deliver its maximum flow at shutoff pressure.
Inlet: 10mm (3/8") hose barb.
Outlet: 10mm (3/8") hose barb.
The automatic pressure switch provides demand operation as an outlet opens and closes. The internal bypass recirculates some liquid within the pump at low demand, helping reduce rapid switching. Consult Seaflo before changing the preset pressure, as changes may affect the warranty.
The pump is self-priming with a suction lift up to 1.2m. Actual lift depends on the inlet hose, air leaks and the liquid being pumped. Brief dry-running capability does not provide automatic shutdown when a tank is empty; switch off when the liquid supply runs out.
Use according to the duty-cycle instructions supplied with the pump. Use liquid at temperatures up to 60°C, subject to chemical compatibility. Mount the pump securely using its rubber feet without overtightening them, and fit a suitable inlet strainer. Use flexible reinforced hose and keep the motor and electrical connections protected from water.
The pump requires a 12V DC supply. Maximum current is 5A. It is supplied with two-pin leads.
