The Galcon 9001 Series 2-Way Alternating Valve is an accessory used to create two watering zones from a single tap timer outlet. It is designed for use with compatible Galcon 9001 series tap timers where two separate garden areas need to be watered without running both zones at the same time.
The valve automatically alternates between outlets each watering cycle. On the first programmed start time, one outlet opens. On the next start time, the valve changes over and opens the opposite outlet, allowing two separate irrigation zones to be watered from one tap timer.
This is useful where a single tap does not have enough flow or pressure to run two areas together. Because only one outlet operates at a time, each zone can be watered separately while still using one tap-mounted controller.
The alternating valve is an accessory only. It does not replace the tap timer and does not provide independent electronic control of each outlet. The watering sequence is created by the timer start times and the valve’s alternating operation.
