Galvanised malleable iron male x female reducing hex bushes are used to adapt threaded fittings, valves, manifolds and pipework from one size down to another. They are suitable for water, air and general pipework applications where a larger female BSP threaded connection needs to be reduced to a smaller female BSP outlet.
Made from hot dip galvanised malleable iron, these reducing hex bushes provide a male BSP outside thread with a smaller female BSP internal thread. Use suitable thread sealant or PTFE tape when installing into compatible BSP threaded fittings.
