Galvanised malleable iron 50mm x 40mm male x female reducing hex bushes are used to adapt a 50mm (2") female BSP threaded fitting or outlet down to a 40mm (1 1/2") female BSP connection. They are suitable for water, air and general pipework applications where a threaded connection needs to be reduced.
Made from hot dip galvanised malleable iron, this reducing hex bush provides a 50mm (2") male BSP outside thread with a 40mm (1 1/2") female BSP internal thread. Use suitable thread sealant or PTFE tape when installing into compatible BSP threaded fittings.
