Galvanised Brass Seat Barrel Union 20mm has 20mm (3/4") female BSP threads at both ends. It joins male threaded pipework through a central union connection that opens for maintenance.
The central union can be opened without unscrewing the end connections from the pipework. A brass seat forms the union joint.
The body is made from hot dip galvanised malleable iron for water, air and general pipework applications. Use suitable thread sealant or PTFE tape on the mating male BSP threads.
Avoid joining brass, galvanised and stainless steel fittings directly to one another. Use a plastic or other suitable non-conductive fitting or adaptor between different metals to prevent galvanic corrosion where water is present.
