Brass VYR-65 impact sprinkler showing spring and arm

VYR-65 brass impact sprinkler for agricultural irrigation.

Part-circle and full-circle settings let the same sprinkler suit field edges or open areas. Two nozzles spray at different angles to distribute water across the area.

With the supplied 6.4mm + 3.2mm nozzles, the sprinkler waters a 17.7m radius at 420 kPa. Radius is the distance from the sprinkler to the outer edge of the watered area.
Flow is 69.2 L/min at this pressure.

The spray arc is how far around the sprinkler the water sprays. Move the two stop clips around the base, setting one at each end of the area to be watered. The reversing lever meets each clip and changes the sprinkler’s direction. Check both turning points while watering and reposition the clips as needed. Full-circle operation is also available.

Connection: 25mm (1") male BSP inlet.

Coverage and flow vary with nozzle size, pressure and adjustment. Use the performance chart when selecting sprinkler spacing.

Narrowing the arc concentrates the same flow over a smaller area, increasing the watering rate. Match nozzle flow, arc and spacing when combining sprinklers on one zone to avoid uneven watering. Changing nozzle size can also change the watering distance.

✓ Product Type and Application
VYR-65 brass impact sprinkler for agricultural irrigation.
An impact sprinkler uses the water stream to drive a spring-loaded arm, turning the sprinkler in steps as it waters.

✓ Watering Performance and Benefits
Part-circle and full-circle settings let the same sprinkler suit field edges or open areas. Two nozzles spray at different angles to distribute water across the area.

✓ Coverage and Spray Pattern
Radius: 17.7–19.8m at 420–560 kPa with the supplied nozzles.
Radius is the distance from the sprinkler to the outer edge of the watered area.
Spray pattern: Adjustable part circle or full circle.

✓ Supplied Nozzles
6.4mm + 3.2mm.

✓ Pressure & Flow
At 420 kPa: 17.7m radius; 69.2 L/min.
Coverage and flow vary with nozzle size, pressure and adjustment. Use the performance chart when selecting sprinkler spacing.

✓ Arc Adjustment
The spray arc is how far around the sprinkler the water sprays. Move the two stop clips around the base, setting one at each end of the area to be watered. The reversing lever meets each clip and changes the sprinkler’s direction. Check both turning points while watering and reposition the clips as needed. Full-circle operation is also available.

✓ Precipitation Rate
Precipitation rate is how quickly water is applied, measured in mm/h. With the same nozzle and pressure, narrowing the arc leaves flow unchanged, concentrating water over a smaller area. A half circle receives roughly twice the average watering rate of a full circle with the same radius. Allow for arc, nozzle flow and spacing when combining sprinklers on one zone. A smaller nozzle can reduce flow but may also shorten the throw. Use separate zones if watering rates cannot be matched.

✓ Construction
Brass body.

25mm (1") male BSP inlet.
