PVC DWV Coupling Plain 150mm is used to join two lengths of matching PVC DWV pipe in a straight line. Both sockets fit over 150mm PVC DWV pipe with an approximately 160mm outside diameter.
The coupling has an internal centre stop that allows each pipe to slide halfway into the fitting. This helps position the pipe ends and prevents the coupling from sliding fully along the pipe.
Both sockets are joined using PVC priming fluid and suitable non-pressure PVC solvent cement. This joining method is known as a solvent weld joint, or SWJ.
The stated 150mm size is nominal and does not equal the measured pipe outside diameter. Please confirm that the pipe has an approximately 160mm outside diameter before ordering.
PVC DWV pipe and fittings are suitable for use in stormwater, sewerage, wastewater, vent, and other non-pressure applications.
