DWV (Stormwater) Coupling Threaded 300mm can be used like a standard plain coupling to join two sections of nominal 300mm PVC drainage pipe and also has an external male thread that accepts a matching threaded access cap.
The two 300mm female sockets fit over matching PVC pipe with an approximately 315mm outside diameter. An internal centre stop positions the pipe ends within the coupling in the same way as a plain coupling.
The external male thread accepts a matching 300mm threaded access cap, allowing the fitting to provide removable access for inspection, cleaning or temporary blanking when configured for that purpose.
The socket connections are joined using PVC priming fluid and suitable non-pressure PVC solvent cement. This is known as a solvent weld joint, or SWJ.
Suitable for compatible non-pressure stormwater and drainage applications.
