DWV Repair Coupling Slip 150mm is used to join or repair two sections of nominal 150mm PVC DWV pipe where a standard centre-stop coupling may be difficult to install.
Unlike a plain coupling, the slip coupling has no internal centre stop. This allows it to slide fully along the pipe so it can be moved out of the way while the pipe ends are positioned, then slid back across the joint.
Both 150mm female sockets fit over matching PVC DWV pipe, which has an approximately 160mm outside diameter. The coupling is joined using PVC priming fluid and suitable non-pressure PVC solvent cement.
This makes the slip coupling particularly useful for pipe repairs and installations where the existing pipework has limited movement.
PVC DWV pipe and fittings are suitable for use in stormwater, sewerage, wastewater, vent, and other non-pressure applications.
