PVC DWV Level Invert Taper 150mm x 100mm is used to connect 100mm PVC DWV pipe to a larger 150mm female socket fitting while keeping the inside bottom of both sides level.
The smaller 100mm female socket fits over nominal 100mm PVC DWV pipe with an approximately 110mm outside diameter. The larger 150mm pipe-size spigot has an approximately 160mm outside diameter and fits into a compatible 150mm female socket fitting.
The tapered offset design of the fitting allows you to keep the inside bottom of both sides level.
The 150mm pipe-size spigot can also suit compatible 150mm PVC stormwater fittings where the socket is designed for approximately 160mm outside diameter pipe.
The socket and pipe-size spigot connections are joined using PVC priming fluid and suitable non-pressure PVC solvent cement. This joining method is known as a solvent weld joint, or SWJ.
The stated 150mm and 100mm sizes are nominal and do not equal the measured pipe outside diameters.
PVC DWV pipe and fittings are suitable for use in stormwater, sewerage, wastewater, vent, and other non-pressure applications.
