PVC DWV Level Invert Taper 100mm x 80mm is used to connect 80mm PVC DWV pipe to a larger 100mm female socket fitting while keeping the inside bottom of both sides level.
The smaller 80mm female socket fits over nominal 80mm PVC DWV pipe with an approximately 82mm outside diameter. The larger 100mm pipe-size spigot has an approximately 110mm outside diameter and fits into a compatible 100mm female socket fitting.
The tapered offset design of the fitting allows you to keep the inside bottom of both sides level.
The socket and pipe-size spigot connections are joined using PVC priming fluid and suitable non-pressure PVC solvent cement. This joining method is known as a solvent weld joint, or SWJ.
The stated 100mm and 80mm sizes are nominal and do not equal the measured pipe outside diameters.
PVC DWV pipe and fittings are suitable for use in stormwater, sewerage, wastewater, vent, and other non-pressure applications.
