The Rain Bird 200PGA 50mm solenoid valve operates with a compatible 24V AC irrigation controller. Its non-rising flow-control handle adjusts water flow without increasing the height of the valve as it turns.
The valve combines a PVC body with a glass-filled nylon bonnet. Slow closing helps reduce water hammer, and filtered pilot flow helps keep debris out of the solenoid passages.
To open the valve manually, turn the solenoid handle anticlockwise 1/4 to 3/4 turn, until water flows. Turn it clockwise until hand-tight to return the valve to controller operation. This internal bleed releases pressure above the diaphragm into the outlet pipe, without discharging water into the valve box.
The body supports globe or angle installation. Use the matching pressure-loss chart to size the valve for the zone’s flow.
