The Rain Bird DVF 25mm solenoid valve controls irrigation zones using a compatible battery-operated controller with a DC-latching output. Its easy-to-turn flow-control handle adjusts water flow at the valve.
The double-filtered pilot circuit helps keep debris out of the valve’s control passages. A captured solenoid plunger and captive diaphragm spring help prevent lost parts during servicing.
Internal manual bleed releases pressure above the diaphragm into the outlet pipe, allowing the valve to open without an electrical signal. Water stays within the pipework. Close the manual control after testing to return the valve to controller operation. The external bleed screw releases water outside the valve for flushing during installation and start-up. Keep it closed during normal controller operation.
For drip irrigation or flows below 12.5 L/min, install the upstream filter specified in the linked instructions.
