The DCL replacement solenoid uses a brief electrical pulse to open or close the valve. It holds its position between pulses without needing continuous power.
It is compatible with Irritrol Junior DC and Toro Tempus DC controllers. Hunter also lists the DCL for NODE, NODE-BT, XC Hybrid, SVC and WVC when used with the specified Irritrol valve models.
For these Hunter controller pairings, the listed Irritrol valves are the 100, 200B, 205, 311A, 700, 2400/2600, 2500 and 2700 Series. This describes controller compatibility with an Irritrol valve; it does not mean the coil fits Hunter valves.
Use a controller designed for DC-latching solenoids and follow its wiring instructions.
