The Hunter 458200 provides DC-latching operation for Hunter irrigation valves. It can replace a failed latching solenoid or convert a compatible valve to battery-powered controller operation.

The controller sends a brief pulse to open the valve and another to close it. The solenoid holds its position between pulses without continuous power.

Compatible controllers include Hunter NODE, NODE-BT and XC Hybrid, along with older SVC and WVC models. The captive plunger helps keep the solenoid’s parts together during servicing.

Connect the black lead to common and the red lead to the station output, following the controller instructions.
