The Hunter PRS40 Pro-Spray is a pop-up sprinkler body for lawn and landscape irrigation using MP Rotator nozzles. Its riser extends 4 inches (100mm) above the body during watering and retracts when the system switches off. The sprinkler is 155mm tall with the riser retracted.
The body has a 15mm (1/2") Female BSP inlet and accepts industry-standard female-threaded sprinkler nozzles. Its 280 kPa pressure setting suits Hunter MP Rotator nozzles. Coverage, spray pattern and flow depend on the nozzle fitted. Nozzle sold separately.
The built-in pressure regulator controls nozzle pressure at 280 kPa, helping maintain consistent MP Rotator performance where supply pressure is higher. The check valve helps prevent water draining from low-lying sprinklers after watering stops.
A heavy-duty retraction spring returns the riser after watering, while the wiper seal helps keep debris out and reduce leakage around the riser. A grey body cap identifies the PRS40 model.
The pop-up body is supplied with a grey flush cap. After installing the sprinkler body and before fitting a nozzle, run water through the system to flush dirt and debris that may have fallen into the pipe line during installation.
