HUNTER PRO-SPRAY POP-UP SPRINKLER BODY

Hunter Pro-Spray pop-up sprinkler bodies are suited to lawn and landscape irrigation using separately selected spray or rotary nozzles. The riser extends during watering and retracts when the system switches off. Choose the pop-up riser height to clear the surrounding lawn or planting.

Each body has a 15mm (1/2") Female BSP inlet and accepts industry-standard female-threaded sprinkler nozzles, including Hunter Pro Fixed, Pro Adjustable, Pro High-Efficiency and female-threaded MP Rotator nozzles. Coverage, spray pattern and flow depend on the nozzle fitted. Nozzles are sold separately.

Standard Pro-Spray bodies have no built-in pressure regulation. PRS30 bodies regulate nozzle pressure to 210 kPa for standard spray nozzles, while PRS40 bodies regulate to 280 kPa for MP Rotator nozzles. The PRS30 and PRS40 models in this range include a check valve to help prevent water draining from low-lying sprinklers after watering stops.

Side-inlet models include both bottom and side inlets for easy installation. A heavy-duty retraction spring returns the riser after watering, while the wiper seal helps keep debris out and reduce leakage around the riser.

Pop-up bodies are supplied with a grey flush cap. After installing the sprinkler body and before fitting a nozzle, run water through the system to flush dirt and debris that may have fallen into the pipe line during installation.
