PVC DWV plain bends male-female are used to change the direction of matching PVC DWV pipework.
Each bend has one female socket and one pipe-size spigot. The female socket fits over PVC DWV pipe of the matching nominal size, while the pipe-size spigot has the same outside diameter as matching pipe and fits into the socket of another matching fitting.
The connections are joined using PVC priming fluid and suitable non-pressure PVC solvent cement. This joining method is known as a solvent weld joint, or SWJ.
PVC DWV pipe is identified by its nominal size, which may differ from its measured outside diameter. Please confirm the correct DWV pipe size before ordering.
PVC DWV pipe and fittings are suitable for use in stormwater, sewerage, wastewater, vent, and other non-pressure applications.
