PVC DWV Plain Bend MF 5° 100mm is used to create a 5° change in direction in matching PVC DWV pipework.
The bend has one 100mm female socket and one 100mm pipe-size spigot. The female socket fits over 100mm PVC DWV pipe with an approximately 110mm outside diameter, while the pipe-size spigot fits into the socket of another matching 100mm fitting.
The connections are joined using PVC priming fluid and suitable non-pressure PVC solvent cement. This joining method is known as a solvent weld joint, or SWJ.
The stated 100mm size is nominal and does not equal the measured pipe outside diameter.
PVC DWV pipe and fittings are suitable for use in stormwater, sewerage, wastewater, vent, and other non-pressure applications.
