PVC DWV Plain Bend MF 88° 50mm is used to create an 88° change in direction in matching PVC DWV pipework.
The bend has one 50mm female socket and one 50mm pipe-size spigot. The female socket fits over 50mm PVC DWV pipe with an approximately 56mm outside diameter, while the pipe-size spigot fits into the socket of another matching 50mm fitting.
The connections are joined using PVC priming fluid and suitable non-pressure PVC solvent cement. This joining method is known as a solvent weld joint, or SWJ.
The stated 50mm size is nominal and does not equal the measured pipe outside diameter.
PVC DWV pipe and fittings are suitable for use in stormwater, sewerage, wastewater, vent, and other non-pressure applications.
