The bend has one socket that fits over 40mm PVC DWV pipe with an approximately 43mm outside diameter, and one spigot that fits inside matching 40mm PVC DWV pipe.
The socket and into-pipe spigot are joined using PVC priming fluid and suitable non-pressure PVC solvent cement. This joining method is known as a solvent weld joint, or SWJ.
The stated 40mm size is nominal and does not equal the measured pipe outside diameter. Please confirm that a Socket x Into Pipe connection is required before ordering.
