Iplex Type P clear solvent cement joins PVC-U pressure pipe and fittings by solvent welding. Its clear formulation leaves no coloured cement line, making it useful where finished pipework remains visible. The 500ml container is supplied with a brush.

The cement softens the prepared PVC contact surfaces so the pipe end and fitting socket bond together as the joint cures.

Type P is for tapered interference-fit pressure joints. Prepare the joint surfaces with the specified primer, then apply the cement and assemble the joint according to Iplex instructions.

Allow the joint to cure before pressure testing or service, following the cement and pipe-system instructions.
