Christy's Red Hot Green joins PVC pressure pipe and fittings by solvent welding. The cement softens and dissolves the prepared contact surfaces, which bond together as the joint cures.

The green colour shows where cement has been applied to the pipe end and fitting socket. Primer prepares these surfaces before cementing.

Allow the joint to cure before service, following the cement and pipe-system instructions.

1 1/2" to 3" pipe: 5 minutes.

Cure-table baseline: Relative humidity 60% or less.
Damp or humid conditions: Allow 50% more cure time; initial set may also require up to 50% longer.
Colder conditions and larger pipe sizes require different intervals; refer to the full guide.
