Type N blue PVC solvent cement joins pipe and fittings in non-pressure systems. It softens the prepared contact surfaces so they bond as the joint cures, while the blue colouring shows where cement has been applied. Supplied in a 250ml container.

This Type N solvent cement is for non-pressure PVC pipe and fitting joints. The blue colour makes the applied cement visible during assembly.

Primer cleans, degreases and softens the joint surfaces before cementing. The cement then softens and dissolves the mating surfaces further, allowing the pipe end and fitting socket to bond as the joint cures.

A brush is included for applying the cement. Larger pipe joints may require a larger brush to coat the surfaces promptly.

Allow the joint to cure before service, following the cement and pipe-system instructions.

Leave the joint undisturbed for 5 minutes.
Avoid rough handling for at least 1 hour.
Wait at least 1 hour after the last joint before filling with water.
For non-pressure service, complete the curing period required by the cement and pipe-system instructions.
