25mm Blue Line metric poly pipe rated PN16 in a 50 metre coil, with an approximate 2.5mm wall thickness. Drinking water safe and suitable for irrigation, domestic and rural water supply, and general water distribution applications.
The PN16 rating means the pipe has a nominal pressure rating of 1600 kPa, or 16 bar, at 20°C. The allowable operating pressure reduces when used continuously at higher temperatures.
The SDR11 rating describes the ratio between the pipe’s outside diameter and wall thickness. For pipes of the same diameter, a lower SDR number indicates a thicker wall.
PE100 is a high-strength polyethylene grade used for pressure pipe. It is tough, flexible and resistant to rust, rot, corrosion and internal scale build-up, while its smooth internal bore supports efficient water flow.
Manufactured to AS/NZS 4130, the pipe is commonly joined using 25mm metric compression fittings. Compatible 25mm electrofusion fittings can also be used where a welded connection is preferred.
