PVC DWV Riser Junction MF 88° 100mm x 50 is used to connect a 50mm branch pipe into a 100mm main PVC DWV riser at an 88° angle.
The main riser connection is male-female. The 100mm female socket fits over nominal 100mm PVC DWV pipe with an approximately 110mm outside diameter. The opposite 100mm pipe-size spigot also has an approximately 110mm outside diameter and fits into a compatible 100mm female fitting socket.
The 50mm female branch socket enters the main riser at 88° and fits over nominal 50mm PVC DWV pipe with an approximately 56mm outside diameter.
The socket and spigot connections are joined using PVC priming fluid and suitable non-pressure PVC solvent cement. This joining method is known as a solvent weld joint, or SWJ.
The stated 100mm and 50mm sizes are nominal and do not equal the measured pipe outside diameters.
PVC DWV pipe and fittings are suitable for use in stormwater, sewerage, wastewater, vent, and other non-pressure applications.
