PVC DWV 4 Way Riser MF 88° 80mm x 50x40x40x40 is used to connect four branch pipes into an 80mm main PVC DWV riser.
The main riser connection is male-female. The 80mm female socket fits over nominal 80mm PVC DWV pipe with an approximately 82mm outside diameter. The opposite 80mm pipe-size spigot also has an approximately 82mm outside diameter and fits into a compatible 80mm female fitting socket.
The fitting provides four female branch sockets entering the main riser at 88°. There is one 50mm branch socket and three 40mm branch sockets.
The 50mm branch socket fits over nominal 50mm PVC DWV pipe with an approximately 56mm outside diameter. Each 40mm branch socket fits over nominal 40mm PVC DWV pipe with an approximately 43mm outside diameter.
The socket and spigot connections are joined using PVC priming fluid and suitable non-pressure PVC solvent cement. This joining method is known as a solvent weld joint, or SWJ.
The stated sizes are nominal and do not equal the measured pipe outside diameters.
PVC DWV pipe and fittings are suitable for use in stormwater, sewerage, wastewater, vent, and other non-pressure applications.
