PVC DWV reducing junctions are used to connect a smaller branch pipe into a larger main pipe run.
Each reducing junction has three female sockets. Two larger sockets continue the main pipe run, while the smaller socket connects the branch pipe at the specified angle.
The sockets fit over PVC DWV pipe of the matching nominal sizes and are joined using PVC priming fluid and suitable non-pressure PVC solvent cement. This joining method is known as a solvent weld joint, or SWJ.
PVC DWV pipe is identified by its nominal size, which may differ from its measured outside diameter. Please confirm the correct DWV pipe sizes before ordering.
PVC DWV pipe and fittings are suitable for use in stormwater, sewerage, wastewater, vent, and other non-pressure applications.
