Precipitation rate describes how quickly water is applied across the area, measured in millimetres per hour.
Standard MP Rotators apply approximately 10 mm/hour. MP800 models apply approximately 20 mm/hour. Keep these families on separate irrigation zones. MP strip matching depends on spacing and layout.
Multiple rotating streams spread water evenly and help maintain coverage in wind. Slow water application gives the soil more time to absorb water, helping reduce runoff, while low flow allows more sprinklers to run on a zone where the water supply is limited. The double-pop design helps protect the nozzle from dirt and debris during startup. On adjustable models, the adjustment ring sets the spray arc. The top adjustment screw lets you shorten the watering distance.
Female nozzle thread suits Hunter Pro-Spray sprinkler bodies. Sprinkler body sold separately. The nozzle can also be used with matching shrubhead adaptors where pop-up is not required, typically installed on top of a riser.
