The Irritrol 2400MTF 25mm jar-top solenoid valve controls water flow to an irrigation zone. Its flow-control handle adjusts water flow and allows manual shutoff.
A 24V AC solenoid operates with a compatible irrigation controller. The threaded bonnet provides quick access to the internal components for servicing without removing the valve from the pipework. A stainless steel metering system and double-beaded Santoprene diaphragm support reliable valve operation.
Internal manual bleed releases pressure above the diaphragm into the outlet pipe, allowing the valve to open without an electrical signal. Water stays within the pipework. Close the manual control after testing to return the valve to controller operation. The external bleed screw releases water and pressure from the chamber above the diaphragm to the outside of the valve. This allows the valve to open during servicing and troubleshooting. Keep the screw closed during normal controller operation.
The valve can be serviced without removing it from the pipework.
