The Rain Bird ESP-ME3 Modular 4 Station Base Outdoor Controller is an expandable irrigation controller for residential and light commercial watering systems. It includes 4 base stations and can be expanded up to 22 stations using compatible Rain Bird ESP-ME 3 or 6 station expansion modules.
The ESP-ME3 is suitable for customers who need a controller that can start small and expand later as more irrigation zones are added. It uses a modular station layout, so additional modules can be installed into the available expansion slots without replacing the whole controller.
This controller supports 4 independent programs with 6 start times per program, station run times from 1 minute to 6 hours, seasonal adjustment, delay watering, manual watering, rain sensor bypass by station and Contractor Default™ save/restore programming.
The ESP-ME3 is LNK WiFi Module compatible, allowing smartphone control through the Rain Bird app when the optional Rain Bird LNK / LNK2 WiFi Module is installed. It also supports wired flow sensor monitoring, making it a practical upgrade from simpler fixed-station controllers where flow alerts and larger station capacity are required.
