PVC Pressure Slipfix 80mm (3") is a telescopic PVC-U repair fitting used to repair or modify 80mm PVC pressure pipe where existing pipework or components cannot easily be moved. The socket suits PVC pressure pipe with an 88.9mm outside diameter, while the spigot has an 88.9mm outside diameter for insertion into a matching PVC pressure fitting socket.
The telescopic body can be extended to bridge the required gap. The socket fits over matching 80mm PVC pressure pipe, while the spigot inserts into a matching moulded PVC pressure fitting socket. When joining directly between two pipe ends, a separate 80mm PVC pressure coupling is required on the spigot side.
Both connections are joined using PVC priming fluid and pressure-rated solvent cement. The fitting is suited to repairs and modifications in commercial and agricultural irrigation, domestic and rural water supply, pump systems and compatible PVC pressure pipework.
