PVC Pressure Slipfix 40mm (1 1/2") is a telescopic PVC-U repair fitting used to repair or modify 40mm PVC pressure pipe where existing pipework or components cannot easily be moved. The socket suits PVC pressure pipe with a 48.3mm outside diameter, while the spigot has a 48.3mm outside diameter for insertion into a matching PVC pressure fitting socket.
The telescopic body can be extended to bridge the required gap. The socket fits over matching 40mm PVC pressure pipe, while the spigot inserts into a matching moulded PVC pressure fitting socket. When joining directly between two pipe ends, a separate 40mm PVC pressure coupling is required on the spigot side.
Both connections are joined using PVC priming fluid and pressure-rated solvent cement. The fitting is suited to repairs and modifications in irrigation, garden and landscape watering, domestic and rural water supply, pump systems and compatible PVC pressure pipework.
