PVC Pressure Bush Reducing 40mm x 32mm (1 1/2" x 1 1/4") is a PVC-U fitting used to reduce a 40mm PVC pressure fitting socket to accept 32mm PVC pressure pipe. The 40mm spigot has a 48.3mm outside diameter, while the 32mm socket fits over PVC pressure pipe with a 42.3mm outside diameter.
The 40mm spigot inserts into a matching moulded PVC pressure fitting socket and is joined using PVC priming fluid and pressure-rated solvent cement. The 32mm socket fits over matching PVC pressure pipe and is joined using the same solvent-weld method. The spigot is designed for use with a fitting socket and should not be installed into a PVC pressure pipe socket.
The bush reducing fitting is suited to residential, commercial and agricultural irrigation, garden and landscape watering, domestic and rural water supply, pump systems, pool and spa equipment, general water transfer and compatible PVC pressure pipework.
