Spears 25mm PVC cap closes the unused end of a manifold assembly. The cap provides a closed end for the assembly.
It closes an unused opening so the manifold can remain pressurised. The cap can be removed when the assembly is extended or serviced.
The PVC component is rated to 1034kPa at 23°C. Tighten manifold connections by hand; do not use wrenches or pliers.
Use matching Spears manifold nipples at swivel-to-valve connections and matching Spears manifold caps to close unused male ends. Standard threaded nipples and caps are not substitutes for these O-ring sealing components, even when the thread size matches. Keep the manifold, fittings, nipples and caps within the Spears system. Hand-tighten O-ring joints without thread tape.
