Hunter NODE-BT Bluetooth battery-operated controllers provide automatic irrigation control for sites where mains power is unavailable, with programming managed from a nearby smartphone using the Hunter NODE-BT app. Available in 1, 2 and 4 station models, the NODE-BT range is suited to valve boxes, gardens, medians, greenhouses, temporary irrigation and remote landscape zones.
The NODE-BT range includes node-only controllers as well as single-station controller and valve options with a DC-latching solenoid. This gives customers the choice between replacing an existing battery controller or purchasing a more complete valve box control setup.
NODE-BT controllers allow irrigation schedules to be adjusted without opening the valve box for normal programming. Bluetooth communication provides local wireless access up to approximately 15 metres, making it useful for contractors, maintenance staff and customers managing controllers installed below ground or in difficult access locations.
The NODE-BT supports 3 programs, 8 start times per program and station run times from 1 second to 12 hours. It also includes manual push-button operation at the controller, Cycle and Soak, delay between stations, seasonal adjustment, programmable off and app tools such as controller naming, station naming, battery reminders and schedule copying.
NODE-BT controllers operate Hunter DC-latching solenoids only. Standard 24VAC irrigation solenoids will not operate with NODE-BT controllers, so the correct DC-latching solenoids must be used when installing or replacing valves.
A Hunter NODE-BT solar panel kit may be available by special order where solar-assisted battery operation is required.
