Hansen Nyglass hose tails are used to connect flexible hose or pipe to female BSP threaded fittings, outlets and pipework. They are suitable for irrigation, horticultural, agricultural, plumbing, marine and general water applications where a male threaded connection is required on one end and a hose tail connection is required on the other.

Made from glass fibre reinforced nylon, these hose tails provide a male BSPT thread and a hose tail connection for compatible flexible hose. Use a suitable thread sealant on the threaded connection, push the hose onto the tail and secure with a suitable hose clamp.

Hansen Nyglass hose tails available in 6mm, 8mm, 10mm and 15mm standard hose tail sizes, plus 8mm x 6mm, 8mm x 10mm, 10mm x 6mm and 10mm x 8mm reducing hose tail sizes.

Use a suitable thread sealant on the BSPT thread. Push the hose onto the tail and secure with a suitable hose clamp. Do not over-tighten threaded plastic fittings.
