DWV Slab Repair Coupling - Into Pipe x Pipe Size 150mm is designed to connect or extend nominal 150mm PVC DWV pipework at floor or slab level where limited pipe remains exposed.
The reduced spigot at one end is designed to fit inside matching nominal 150mm PVC DWV pipe. This allows the fitting to connect to pipe where there may not be enough exposed length to fit a standard coupling over the outside.
The opposite end is a pipe-size spigot with the same outside diameter as nominal 150mm DWV pipe, approximately 160mm. This end fits into a matching 150mm female socket fitting.
Both connections are joined using PVC priming fluid and suitable non-pressure PVC solvent cement. This is known as a solvent weld joint, or SWJ.
PVC DWV pipe and fittings are suitable for use in stormwater, sewerage, wastewater, vent, and other non-pressure applications.
