DWV Slab Repair Coupling - Socket x Into Pipe 100mm is designed to connect or extend nominal 100mm PVC DWV pipework at floor or slab level where limited pipe remains exposed.
The 100mm female socket fits over matching PVC DWV pipe, which has an approximately 110mm outside diameter. The opposite reduced spigot is designed to fit inside matching nominal 100mm PVC DWV pipe.
This connection arrangement allows the fitting to extend or repair pipework where there may not be enough exposed pipe above the slab to install a standard coupling over both pipe ends.
Both connections are joined using PVC priming fluid and suitable non-pressure PVC solvent cement. This is known as a solvent weld joint, or SWJ.
PVC DWV pipe and fittings are suitable for use in stormwater, sewerage, wastewater, vent, and other non-pressure applications.
