HUNTER MP ROTATOR MALE-THREADED ROTARY NOZZLES

Hunter MP Rotator Male-Threaded Rotary Nozzles for lawn and garden irrigation. Multiple rotating streams spread water evenly and help maintain coverage in wind. Slow water application gives the soil more time to absorb water, helping reduce runoff, while low flow allows more sprinklers to run on a zone where the water supply is limited. On adjustable models, the adjustment ring sets the spray arc. The top adjustment screw lets you shorten the watering distance. Sprinkler body sold separately.

✓ Coverage: Standard MP radius ranges from 2.5 to 10.7 metres; rectangular strip patterns available
✓ Spray Pattern: Adjustable part-circle, fixed full-circle and rectangular strip patterns
✓ Flow: Varies by nozzle model, pressure and arc setting
✓ Recommended Pressure: 280 kPa
✓ Compatibility: Male nozzle thread suits Toro 570Z sprinkler bodies

The Hunter MP Rotator adjustment tool helps turn the radius adjustment screw and grip the arc adjustment ring on adjustable-arc models.

Multiple rotating streams spread water evenly and help maintain coverage in wind. Slow water application gives the soil more time to absorb water, helping reduce runoff, while low flow allows more sprinklers to run on a zone where the water supply is limited.

Standard MP radius ranges from 2.5 to 10.7 metres. The range includes adjustable part-circle, fixed full-circle and rectangular strip patterns.

The double-pop design helps protect the nozzle from dirt and debris during startup. On adjustable models, the adjustment ring sets the spray arc. The top adjustment screw lets you shorten the watering distance.

The Hunter MP Rotator adjustment tool helps turn the radius adjustment screw and grip the arc adjustment ring on adjustable-arc models. Male nozzle thread suits Toro 570Z sprinkler bodies. Sprinkler body sold separately. The nozzle can also be used with matching shrubhead adaptors where pop-up is not required, typically installed on top of a riser.

Precipitation rate describes how quickly water is applied across the area, measured in millimetres per hour.
Standard MP Rotators apply approximately 10mm/hour. MP800 models apply approximately 20mm/hour. Keep these families on separate irrigation zones. MP strip matching depends on spacing and layout.

Warranty: Three years.

✓ Product Type and Application
Hunter MP Rotator Male-Threaded Rotary Nozzles for lawn and garden irrigation.
A rotary nozzle fits onto a compatible sprinkler body and sends out streams of water that rotate across the watering area.

✓ Watering Performance and Benefits
Wind resistance: Multiple rotating streams resist wind drift and reduce misting, helping maintain even coverage in exposed areas.
Even watering: Streams at different trajectories distribute water across the watering area.
Soil absorption: Slow water application gives soil more time to absorb water, helping reduce runoff.
Low flow: Can allow more sprinklers to run on a zone where the available water supply is limited.

✓ Coverage and Spray Pattern
Standard MP radius ranges from 2.5 to 10.7 metres; rectangular strip patterns available.
Adjustable part-circle, fixed full-circle and rectangular strip patterns.
Radius is the distance from the sprinkler to the outer edge of a circular watering pattern. Strip dimensions show total width × length.

✓ Pressure & Flow
Recommended operating pressure: 280 kPa.
Flow varies with nozzle model, pressure and adjustment. Adjustable-nozzle flow also varies with the arc setting. Individual product pages provide model-specific coverage and flow.

✓ Arc Adjustment
The spray arc is how far around the sprinkler the water sprays.
Set the spray arc on adjustable models with the adjustment ring while the sprinkler is operating. Full-circle models have a fixed 360° arc; strip models have fixed rectangular patterns.

✓ Radius Reduction
Use the Hunter MP Rotator Adjustment Tool (MPTOOL) or a small flathead screwdriver on the top adjustment screw.
Turn clockwise to reduce radius and counterclockwise to increase it. Radius reduction is up to approximately 25%.

✓ Precipitation Rate
Precipitation rate describes how quickly water is applied across the area, measured in millimetres per hour.
Standard MP Rotators apply approximately 10mm/hour. MP800 models apply approximately 20mm/hour. Keep these families on separate irrigation zones. MP strip matching depends on spacing and layout.

✓ Debris Protection and Filtration
Double-pop design protects the nozzle until the riser has fully extended. Removable filter screens allow cleaning.

✓ Connection and Compatibility
Male nozzle thread suits Toro 570Z sprinkler bodies. Sprinkler body sold separately. The nozzle can also be used with matching shrubhead adaptors where pop-up is not required, typically installed on top of a riser.

✓ Pressure Regulation
Use a compatible pressure-regulated sprinkler body to maintain the pressure required by the nozzle. For minimum-radius settings, use 210 kPa at the nozzle with radius adjustment.

✓ Warranty
Three years.
