75mm PVC stormwater pipe for rainwater and surface-water drainage. Join to compatible stormwater fittings using priming fluid and Type N solvent cement.
Stormwater pipe carries rainwater and surface runoff in non-pressure drainage systems. It is not suitable for pumped pressure or sewerage applications.
Nominal size identifies the pipe size and matching fittings. It is not the exact internal or outside diameter. For example, 150mm stormwater pipe has an outside diameter of approximately 160mm. Stormwater and pressure pipe of the same nominal size can have different outside diameters.
SN describes pipe stiffness, or resistance to deformation under external loads. A higher SN indicates greater stiffness. It is not a pressure rating.
Use fittings matched to the pipe size and outside diameter. For solvent-weld joints, cut square, remove burrs, clean and prime the joint surfaces, then apply Type N solvent cement and assemble as directed in the jointing guide. Allow joints to cure before use.
Above-ground pipework needs suitable support. Below-ground pipework needs prepared bedding, side support and backfill, with cover appropriate to traffic and other loads. Follow the installation guide and the requirements for the installation.
