Stainless Steel 316 Reducing Hex Nipple Male x Male BSP Specifications

Stainless steel reducing hex nipple with smaller male threaded end uppermost.

Stainless Steel 316 Reducing Hex Nipple 65mm x 50mm has a 65mm (2 1/2") male BSP thread at one end and a 50mm (2") male BSP thread at the other. It joins female threaded components of different sizes in a straight line.

The hex section provides a grip for a spanner during installation.

Made from grade 316 stainless steel, the fitting provides a corrosion-resistant threaded connection. Use suitable thread sealant or PTFE tape on the male BSP threads before installing into female connections.

Avoid joining brass, galvanised and stainless steel fittings directly to one another. Use a plastic or other suitable non-conductive fitting or adaptor between different metals to prevent galvanic corrosion where water is present.
