The Rain Bird 1800 6" pop-up sprinkler body suits lawn and landscape irrigation where an approximately 150mm riser is required to clear the surrounding grass or planting. The riser extends during watering and retracts when the system switches off. The body is approximately 240mm tall with the riser retracted.
Each body has a 15mm (1/2") female-threaded inlet. Accepts compatible female-threaded sprinkler nozzles. Coverage, spray pattern and flow depend on the nozzle fitted. Nozzles sold separately.
UV-resistant plastic body and corrosion-resistant stainless steel parts. A stainless steel spring retracts the riser after watering. The pressure-activated wiper seal helps limit leakage around the riser and clean debris from the stem as it retracts. Body operating pressure range: 100-480 kPa. Flow and required watering pressure depend on the nozzle fitted. Use the selected nozzle’s performance chart to match coverage and flow to the available pressure.
The ratcheting riser can be turned by hand to aim the nozzle’s watering pattern. Spray distance and arc adjustment depend on the nozzle fitted; follow its adjustment instructions.
Both bottom and side inlets are provided. Use the connection position that suits the pipework and close the unused inlet. The taller riser helps the nozzle clear surrounding planting.
Supplied as a box of 50 bodies for installations requiring multiple sprinklers. Nozzles are selected and purchased separately.
Supplied with an orange Pop-Top flush plug. After installing the body and before fitting a nozzle, run water through the system to flush dirt and debris from the pipework.
